From frames shot on assignment to bits and pieces of life
BalinTanaw
BalinTanaw, a portmanteau of balintataw (pupil, part of the eye, a reference to a camera lens’ aperture) and balik-tanaw (to recall), is a visual project thats present both the past and present of landmarks in one frame.
We got our inspiration from the works of Jo Teeuwisse on the Ghosts of History. The following sets were produced under the now-defunct independent website shoot.ph.
